Britain will see celebrations across the country to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee, with an extra long bank holiday weekend earlier this month.
The high-profile event has been organized as the monarch marks seventy years on the throne, the first time a British monarch has reached that milestone.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes the event will allow the country to pay tribute to the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

Reigning now beyond her great-grandmother, Queen Victoria was the longest-serving female monarch in 2015. Victoria served for 63 years and lived to be 81.
